Miranda Wright is a visionary. In 2015, she was given the vision for the Miranda Wrights Company, LLC., after witnessing repeatedly, the poor choices of women due to their lack of knowledge and current circumstances. Miranda knew that she had to build a community where women could connect with one another and no longer remain silent to their past hurts, shame and pain.
In May 2018, Miranda took a leap of faith and registered the Miranda Wrights Company, LLC. Miranda wasted no time with her God’s given vision. Two months after registering the company, she gathered 100 women and held the company’s first women’s empowerment conference. The conference allowed women to remove their masks and face their true authentic selves.
Many of the women expressed that after leaving the conference that they felt free from a past that had once weighed them down. Miranda prays that all women would experience this freedom, but stated that it’s a process. The women have to be “intentional” about their new journey and not turn back to their old ways.
Miranda is on a mission to help women to find their light, in spite of their past. Miranda stands firmly on the scripture, Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
“Miranda was forged in the fire and tested by the flames of her cycles!” -Fa’Darryl Wright
Miranda believes that many women are being held in bondage because of a generational cycle. In Miranda‘s family, the cycle was teenage pregnancy. Miranda, her maternal grandmother and mother all bared a child, as a youth.
Miranda believes that generational cycles can be broken. Miranda stated, “I had to step back and evaluate myself, environment, circumstances and family. I had to admit it, me too. I had to dig really deep, so that my children will not continue the cycle because of my own brokenness. I got to the root of it, I am FREE!”
Miranda hopes that women would speak up and will not remain silent to the issues happening in their lives. She prays that they would face their true authentic selves and break the generational cycles in their lives too.
